Food Safety and Preparation
Having great vegetables and fruit is only part of the equation, you'll get the next skillset in the kitchen where you'll prepare meals using quality ingredients.
Katie Struble will use her years of experience to mentor you in the ways of the kitchen. You'll learn proper preparation and cooking techniques, recipes, and time management skills. All of these will add to the deliciousness that you will take home regularly and serve in the community.
As part of the program, you'll also receive ServSafe training in food safety to protect others and yourself from foodborne illness. You will then have the opportunity to earn a ServSafe certification—a standard for any kitchen manager.
